How We Work with Providers
How a New York no-fault provider starts working with us, and what to expect once the work begins. The same steps apply whether you keep your own biller and use us for collections, or have us handle billing and collections together.
1. Free review and assessment
Tell us about your practice and your unpaid claims, by phone, by email or through our contact form. We typically respond within one business day.
We then arrange a practical way to get the records needed for the review. What we need depends on the practice and its claims, so we agree on it with you rather than asking for a fixed list upfront. Please do not send patient information through the contact form.
The review is free. Any work that follows is governed by the fees we agree on.
2. Agree on the working arrangement
We agree on:
- The services. Collections with your existing biller, or billing and collections together. Billing is offered only together with collections.
- The fees. Fees depend on the services your practice needs and are discussed and agreed upfront.
- How records reach us. The transfer is arranged around your practice’s volume and process: by email, through the secure client portal, by Dropbox or by another method we agree on.
There is no minimum claim size or backlog. Older unpaid claims and write-offs are welcome within the applicable time limits.
3. Work and reporting
We carry out the agreed work: for collections, pursuing the claims that insurers deny, delay or underpay through arbitration, court and appeals; for billing clients, also submitting the bills.
- A dedicated point of contact. Each client has a dedicated point of contact for questions about its claims.
- Attorney supervision. All billing and collection work is supervised by the managing attorney.
Reporting
Reporting is arranged around what your practice needs. Depending on the arrangement, that can be:
- access through the client portal
- monthly reports
- spreadsheets
- ad-hoc reports when you need them
This reporting covers your own claims. It is separate from the public arbitration data on this site, which is built from published arbitration award records and does not show any client’s account, settlements or payments.
