Privacy Policy
Effective October 11, 2026
This policy explains what information beynensonlaw.com (the “site”), operated by The Beynenson Law Firm, PC (“we”, “us”), handles when you use it, and who else processes it. The policy for our No-Fault Arbitration Pro Chrome extension is at the end of this page.
We do not sell, rent, trade or share your information with third parties for their own use. We do not use it for advertising. The only outside parties that receive any of it are the service providers listed below, and each receives only what it needs to run one feature of the site for us.
1. What the site handles, feature by feature
Visiting the site
Like any website, our hosting provider and content delivery network receive the technical details of each request (IP address, browser type, the page requested, the time) and keep them in server logs for security and operation. We use Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats to count visits and see which pages are used; they set or read cookies and receive information about your browser, device, approximate location and the pages you view. Google Analytics loads only after you first scroll, click or type on a page. We do not use advertising cookies or advertising networks.
No-Fault Search
- Keyword, citation and regulation searches are processed entirely on our own server.
- Plain-language searches (questions or descriptions in ordinary words) send the words you typed to OpenAI, which turns them into a list of numbers (an “embedding”) so that decisions can be matched on meaning. That list of numbers, not your words, is then sent to Pinecone, which holds the matching index of decisions. Nothing else about you is sent to either service.
- Searches are not logged. To make paging quick, the answer to a search is kept on our server for ten minutes; it is not linked to you. To limit abuse, the server counts searches per visitor for about two minutes, using a scrambled (one-way hashed) form of the IP address.
- “Your recent searches” are stored only in your own browser (its local storage). They never reach us. You can remove them with “Clear recent searches” on the search page or by clearing your browser’s site data.
No-Fault AI assistant
The messages you type are sent to OpenAI, together with excerpts of decisions from our database, so that its language model can write an answer. The conversation is also stored on our server, with your IP address and the time, so that we can review how the assistant is used and improve it. Stored conversations are kept until we delete them; you can ask us to delete yours at any time (see “Contact” below).
Contact forms
What you enter in a contact form (such as your name, email address, phone number and message) is stored on our website and sent to us by email so that we can reply. The forms use Google reCAPTCHA to block spam: Google receives information about your browser and how you interact with the page, under the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Accounts
The site has no public accounts or registration. Only our own staff log in.
2. Service providers
These providers process information on our behalf, only to operate the feature named:
| Provider | What it does for us | What it receives |
|---|---|---|
| OpenAI | Plain-language search; No-Fault AI answers | The words of a plain-language search; the messages of an AI conversation |
| Pinecone | Index used to match decisions on meaning | A list of numbers computed from a search, not its words |
| Google (Analytics, reCAPTCHA) | Visit statistics; spam protection on forms | Browser, device and page-view information; cookies |
| Automattic (Jetpack Stats) | Visit statistics | Browser, device and page-view information |
| DreamHost | Website hosting | Everything the site stores, and server logs |
| BunnyCDN | Delivering the site’s files quickly | Request details (IP address, browser, file requested) |
Each provider handles this information under its own terms and privacy policy. We also use Google Search Console, which tells us how the site appears in Google search; it receives nothing from your visit to our site.
Apart from these providers, we disclose information only when the law requires it (for example, in response to a subpoena or court order) or when needed to protect the security of the site or the rights of others.
3. Cookies and browser storage
Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats use cookies to tell visits apart. The search page keeps your recent searches in your browser’s local storage. Staff who log in receive WordPress login cookies. You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; the site still works without them.
4. Your choices
- To keep your words away from any outside service when searching, use keywords, citations or quoted phrases rather than a plain-language question.
- Do not enter confidential or client-identifying information in the search box, the AI assistant or a contact form (see our Terms of Use).
- You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, or to delete a stored AI conversation or contact-form submission, by writing to the address below.
5. Security and children
We take reasonable steps to protect what we store, but no website can guarantee complete security. The site is meant for legal professionals and is not directed to children under 13; we do not knowingly collect information from them.
6. Changes
We may update this policy; the date at the top shows when it last changed.
7. Contact
Questions or requests about this policy: contact@beynensonlaw.com, or through our contact page.
